Location Type

Choose the coordinate format used when you share a location (lat/lon, UTM, MGRS, etc.).

Location type popup

1) Open the popup​

From a location prompt, tap the current format.

2) Pick a format​

  • Latitude/Longitude (decimal degrees)
  • Lat/Lon DMS (degrees-minutes-seconds)
  • UTM
  • MGRS
  • What3Words

3) Tap Apply​

Your choice is used everywhere the app shows a location.
