Sign Out
Log out of one selected agency, several agencies, or all of them at once.
The Sign Out screen lists every agency you are signed in to and lets you choose exactly which ones to leave. Because REDENES keeps a separate session per agency, signing out of one does not touch the others — so a volunteer with two agencies can leave one at the end of a shift and stay reachable for the other. A confirmation prompt stands between you and every sign-out.

Nothing is selected when the screen opens. You choose deliberately every time.
Getting Here
- Open the Account tab.
- Open App Settings.
- Choose Sign Out.
Signing Out of Selected Agencies
- Tap each agency you want to leave. A filled check appears. Tap again to deselect.
- Tap Logout. A prompt appears: Logout — "Are you sure you want to log out?"
- Choose Logout to confirm, or Cancel to back out with nothing changed.
What happens next depends on how many agencies remain:

Signing out of an agency removes its data from this device — its chats, notifications, calendar events and cached records. Anything waiting to sync for that agency goes with it. Check the pending uploads count at the top of App Settings before signing out.
Signing Out of All Agencies
- Tap Logout All. You do not need to tick anything first.
- Confirm at the Logout — "Are you sure you want to log out?" prompt.
- Choosing Logout signs you out of every agency and returns you to the login screen.

Choosing the Right Action
Signing out is not the only way to stop being disturbed, and it is the heaviest.

If you are going off shift for the night, muting is almost always the better choice. Signing out clears the agency's data from the device and takes a connection to reverse — mute is a single tap to undo.
Loading and Empty States

The list is rebuilt every time the screen opens, so an agency you signed out of a moment ago is gone when you come back.
Cancelling
Tap Cancel at any time to close the screen without signing out of anything. Your ticks are discarded. Cancel on the confirmation prompt does the same for that one action, leaving the screen open with your selection intact.
Both prompts use the same wording — "Are you sure you want to log out?" — whether you are leaving one agency or all of them. Check which button you tapped before confirming, because the prompt will not tell you.
How This Connects
- Where the list comes from. Every agency stored on your device. It is read locally, so the screen opens instantly and the list is accurate even offline.
- What a session is. Each agency has its own session, created when you signed in and reported as Active on Devices. Signing out of an agency ends that session, so the device stops showing as active for it while remaining active for the agencies you kept.
- What sign-out clears. The selected agency's local data. Your user settings from App Defaults — theme, units, date format, widgets — are held on the server against your account, so they come back when you sign in again. Agency-specific settings from General Settings and your notification levels from Notification Settings also come from the server at sign-in.
- Notifications stop. You will no longer be paged for an agency you have left. If you want to stay signed in but go quiet for a while, use Mute All Notifications instead — it is reversible and keeps your sessions.
- Pending work. Anything queued for an agency is lost when you sign out of it. The pending uploads and downloads counts on App Settings tell you whether anything is still waiting.
- Support tickets. Tickets belong to the agency they were opened in, so signing out of that agency removes them from this device. They are still on the server and return when you sign in again.
- Offline behavior. Signing out works offline — the local data is removed and the sessions are ended as the app reconnects. Signing back in needs a connection, so signing out of everything while offline means waiting until you have one before you can get back in.
Troubleshooting
