Devices
See every device signed in to your organization, who is using it, and whether it is active right now.
The Devices screen lists all the phones, tablets, and computers that are signed in to your agency's REDENES account. Each row shows the device's nickname, its make and model, the person currently signed in, the app version, and whether the session is active. This is a read-only reference that helps administrators confirm who is connected, spot devices running an out-of-date app version, and check whether a device has the permissions it needs to receive alerts.
Overview
The list is a wide table. Each row is one registered device.

A filter bar runs across the top of the screen so you can narrow the list quickly. Only one filter is active at a time, and the selected chip turns blue.

Inactive also catches devices whose session state is empty, so a device that never reported a state still appears there rather than disappearing from the list.
Getting Here
- Open the Account tab.
- Open App Settings.
- Open the Agency Admin area and choose Devices.
The Agency Admin section only appears on the App Settings screen when your role in the current agency is organization administrator. If you do not see it, you do not have access to this screen.
Loading and Empty States

The list is pulled once when the screen opens. To refresh it, leave the screen and come back.
Filtering the List
- Tap any chip in the filter bar at the top of the screen — All, Mobile, Desktop, Active, or Inactive. The selected chip is highlighted in blue; the others follow your light or dark theme.
- The list updates immediately with no reload. Nothing is requested from the server, so filtering works even if your connection drops after the screen loaded.
- Tap All at any time to clear the filter and show every device again.
Viewing Device Details
- Tap any device row in the list. A Device Details card springs up over the screen with the rest of the screen dimmed.
- The card is titled with the device's Identifying Name — not the words "Device Details" — and is divided into a Device Info section and a Device Permissions section, separated by a thin divider.
- Scroll the card if there is more content than fits.
- Tap the ✕ button in the top corner, or tap the dimmed area outside the card, to close it.
Device Info
Fields appear in this fixed order. A field is left out entirely when the server did not send it or sent it empty, so a short card simply means less was reported.

Device Permissions
This section is marked with an orange key icon. Each row names one system permission and shows a colored dot with the status text beside it.

Status text is cleaned up for reading, so a raw value such as not_determined is shown as Not Determined.
Which permissions are listed depends on the manufacturer.

Only permissions the device actually reported are listed, and they always appear in the order above.
Critical Notifications is the permission to watch when someone says they are not being paged. If that row is red or gray on their device, critical alerts will not break through their phone's silent mode no matter how their notification settings are configured.
Last Seen and every other date on this screen use the date format you chose under App Settings → App Defaults. Change the format there and it applies here the next time the card is drawn.
How This Connects
- Where the data comes from. The list is requested from the server for your current organization each time the screen opens. Switching agencies elsewhere in the app changes which devices you see here.
- What updates it. Each device reports its own name, model, OS, app version and permission states when it signs in and as it checks in. The permission values come from the device itself, so they change when someone grants or denies a permission in their phone's system settings — not from anything you do on this screen.
- Sessions and sign-out. A row's Session value reflects the same session that is created at sign-in and ended by Sign Out. Signing out of one agency leaves other agencies' sessions intact, so a person can still show as active here.
- App versions. The Version column and the App Version field match the release history on App Version, which is where you can read what changed between the builds you see listed.
- Date formatting. Dates follow your setting on App Defaults.
- Offline behavior. This screen needs a connection to load. Once loaded, filtering and opening the detail card work from data already on the device; nothing is cached for the next visit, so reopening the screen offline shows an error instead of a stale list.
Troubleshooting

| A device you just signed in on is not listed | Leave the screen and come back — the list only loads once per visit. |
| A device shows Inactive but the person says they are using it | Their session state may not have reported yet. Confirm with Last Seen in the detail card, which shows the most recent check-in. |
| A person is not receiving alerts | Open their device row and check Notifications and Critical Notifications in Device Permissions. Red or gray means the phone itself is blocking alerts and must be fixed in the device's system settings. |
| Last Seen shows a raw timestamp instead of a readable date | No date format is stored yet. Set one under App Defaults. |
| Fewer permission rows appear than you expect | Only permissions the device reported are shown. A missing row means the device never sent that value. |
