My Tracking

Review the tracking sessions you have recorded and see each route on the map.

My Tracking lists the tracking sessions recorded from your account. Each card shows what was tracked, the name you gave it, how many points were collected, and when the session started and ended. Tap a card to see the whole route drawn on a map.

Overview

Sessions are shown as cards, newest information first, each with a chevron on the right to show it opens.

Field on the card	What it means
Reference Type	What kind of item the session was recorded against.
Label	The name you gave the session when you started it.
Point Quantity	How many position points were recorded and uploaded.
Start Date	When recording began.
End Date	When recording stopped.

Control	What it does
Session card	Tap to open the route on a map.
Back	Return to App Settings.

Dates are shown in your preferred date format. If you have not set one, they appear as day, short month, year and 24-hour time — for example 03 Apr 2026 09:22.

Getting Here

1. From Home, open your Account.
2. Open App Settings.
3. Tap My Tracking. A spinner runs while the list loads from the server.

caution

The list is fetched from the server every time you open it, so it needs a connection. If the request fails you will see a message with the reason returned by the server, and the list stays empty.

Browse Your Sessions

1. Scroll the list of cards. Each one summarises a single session.
2. Read Point Quantity to judge how much of a route there is — a session with only a handful of points was recorded without much movement, or was cut short.
3. Compare Start Date and End Date to see how long the session ran.

If you have never recorded a session, or the list has not loaded, the screen is simply empty with no cards.

View a Session's Route

1. Tap a session card. A spinner runs while its points are fetched.
2. The route opens on a map:

On the map	What it shows
Green dot	Where the session started.
Red dot	Where the session ended.
Red line	The path recorded between them.
Your own position	A live location puck, so you can see where you are relative to the route.

3. The camera zooms out to fit the whole route on screen with a margin around it.
4. Press and hold anywhere on the map to see the coordinate of that spot.
5. Tap Back to return to the list.

note

A route needs at least two points to draw a line. A session with one point or none opens the map but draws nothing.

Change the Map Behind a Route

1. On the route map, tap the three-dot button in the top corner.
2. Choose from the two options:

Option	What it does
Base Map	Pick a single base map style.
Map Layers	Tick any number of overlay layers.

3. Make your choice and tap Done. The map redraws behind the route.

caution

Map Layers needs a connection, because layer data is fetched from the server. Offline you will see Internet connection not available instead of the list.

tip

Switch to a satellite or terrain base map before reading a rural track. On a plain street style there is often nothing around the route to tell you where it actually went.

How This Connects

• Sessions come from the tracking sessions you start on the Reference Map. The Label here is the name you typed then.
• Points are collected on the device roughly every 100 metres and uploaded in batches, so a session you have just finished may show fewer points here than it eventually will. Reopen the list after the device has been on a connection for a while.
• Because this screen reads from the server rather than the device, a session recorded on one phone is visible from another device signed in to the same account.
• The base map style and layers you choose on a route map are your account's map defaults, shared with Map, Reference Map, saved maps and the incident Maps tab. Changing them here changes them everywhere, and the change is synced to the server — or held on the device and synced later if you are offline.
• While a session is running your position also feeds the Unit Locations overlay your team sees live. This screen is the after-the-fact record; unit locations are the live picture.
• One-off positions you save on the GPS screen are a different thing entirely: they live on the device only and are listed in GPS History.
• The date format used on the cards comes from General App Settings.

Troubleshooting

If this happens	What to do
The list is empty	Either you have no sessions yet, or the list could not load. Check your connection and reopen the screen.
A message appears instead of the list	The server returned an error. Tap OK, check your connection, and try again.
A session you just recorded is missing	Its points may not have uploaded yet. Stay on a connection for a minute and reopen the list.
Point Quantity is much lower than expected	Points are only added as you move, and only counted once uploaded. Check you had signal during the session, and that background location was allowed.
A session opens but draws no line	Fewer than two points were recorded. There is nothing to draw.
The route map is blank behind the line	Base map tiles are fetched live. Move to a connection, or download the area in advance from the Reference Map.
The dates look wrong or unfamiliar	They follow your date format preference. Change it in General App Settings.
Map Layers shows an internet message	Layer data needs a connection. Reconnect and try again.
